  13. -> degauss the disks, but I think it's more likely you know someone with
  14. -> a PC than a degausser ;-).

  16. Just a note to those considering the use of a degausser to erase the
  17. contents of a ZIP disk.  Iomega states that the use of a degausser on a
  18. ZIP disk will likely destroy the control tracks on the ZIP disk, thus
  19. destroying it in an unrecoverable manner, and voiding any media
  20. warranty. Not a good idea.
